And then of course I was home for Thanksgiving at Mom's house.

0Flavor tripping didn’t work so well, but it was fun anyway
0I forget now exactly how this came about... I think I got a link from my brother Tim to a New York Times article on the topic. However it happened, I was intrigued by the article "A tiny fruit that tricks the tongue" published May 28, 2008, in the Times. I decided to purchase 50 grams of the extract of the so called miracle berries from Bioresources International, Inc., for $80 shipped. I then prepared to test out the powder on a whole bunch of fruit and random foods.
i("/media/2008/08/12/CNG_7252.JPG","","http://charlie.charliecorp.com/2008/08/flavor-tripping-didnt-work-so.php"); ?>Sadly, no one "got it to work" other than noticing a slight difference in the taste of a lemon. Maybe it was a bad batch, or maybe we didn't use enough... or maybe it was a scam. I don't know. I was going to try the actual berries, but haven't yet made the investment.
i("/media/2008/08/12/P1030296.JPG","","http://charlie.charliecorp.com/2008/08/flavor-tripping-didnt-work-so.php"); ?>Despite the setbacks, it was still a fun preclub even nonetheless.
